Cheap rooftop, drinks & Vietnamese. Don’t twist my arm.
Bia offers the perfect Hump Day experience. Cheap Vietnamese food and drink, and a rooftop that sits you right under the Williamsburg Bridge; which I love because it makes you feel so tiny. It’s got nice lighting and the bridge way above it, where you can see people walking by (some will wave, some won’t notice you). There’s no music; or if there was, I didn’t notice it; it really gives you the backyard experience that chances are you’re lacking. The most expensive thing on the menu is $10, and the cheapest is $3. The drinks are also cheap, and there’s a shot and a beer special for $6. There’s also a downstairs so you can indulge in the winter or in the rain as well. All in all, very simply stated–because that’s just what Bia is–this is a great place for the repertoire, especially if you don’t want to go hard in the liver or the wallet (or the paint).
Where: South 6th, between Berry & Wythe. | How Much: Drinks are $5-6, food is about the same.
